The first regular band I had as a leader was in New Orleans in the early 90's. We were playing gigs at Snug Harbor, Kaldi's, Cafe Brazil, the Funky Butt, etc. It was a magical time. We recorded this album to tape on the west bank in Tim Stambaugh's home studio. It was my first studio album as a leader. Man, I was excited...
